Sr. Principal Software Engineer
Holly is a Sr. Principal Software Engineer on the Red Hat Quarkus team and a Java Champion. She has been a full-stack javascript developer, a build architect, a client-facing consultant, a JVM performance engineer, and an innovation leader. She gets worked up about sustainability, technical empathy, extreme programming, the importance of proper testing, and automating all the things.

Sr. Software Engineer
Roberto is an experienced software engineer with a focus in JVM ecosystem, developer productivity and continuous delivery. He currently works at Netflix in the JVM ecosystem team, which provides the user experience for dependency management, building, packaging, and publishing JVM-based libraries and applications.

Tech Lead for Developer Experience
Principal Software Engineer and Technical Leader for the Developer Experience team at American Airlines. Worked as a Technical Coach in the American Airlines Dojos, also known as the Hangar. One of the two original developers that brought Backstage into the company making AA one of it’s earliest adopters.

Product Designer for the Developer Experience team. In the design process, I’m especially passionate about leveraging user research to help make informed design decisions. When I’m not at work, I love spending time with my cats, crafting, and exploring the great outdoors.
Rui Abreu
Research Software Engineer
Rui holds a Ph.D. in CS and a M.Sc. in Computer and Systems Engineering. His research revolves around software quality, with emphasis in automating the testing and debugging phases of the software development lifecycle as well as self-adaptation. He has extensive expertise in both static and dynamic analysis algorithms for improving software quality.
Jack Palmer
Staff Engineer
Jack works across all things Developer Experience and Backstage in Spotify, from leading the engineering of Spotify’s internal Backstage to working closely with the Backstage OSS community.
